Cease & Desist is an independent EDM record label, currently focussing on all genres of House & Techno. And we're not scared to release something different!
We do things differently. We don't charge up-front like many indie labels. Our profit share is different and we don't care for follower counts or existing artist communities. We are all about growth and promoting emerging talent.
We are a small label with big aspirations. We want to make records labels great again. Dispel the myths and distaste, challenge convention and be a big part of the producer-led uprising.
Our journey is different. Our approach is different. And that's why we also have our own dedicated Internet Radio station The Desistance Radio, specifically to promote up-and-coming DJs and fresh music and give them a platform to grow.

My Music :: Alphajay
Music Producer & DJ
Having started my music journey in the late 90s, I lived through the rave-scene which continues to be a huge inspiration within my music today. After a huge hiatus, I returned to DJing in 2020 and music production in 2023 where my passion truly lies.
I can turn my head to pretty much any musical genre and style. My recent productions have ranged from Piano House through Acid Techno to liquid or roller-style Drum & Bass. That said, I've found my 'sweet-spot' to be in commercial and piano house and dance music productions. I'm equally happy working solo on a single or album release as I am collaborating with multiple artists and regularly release bootlegs, edits and remixes with other artists.
When it comes to DJing, I like to take the audience on a journey with some of my edits and releases, mixed in with fresh music, classics and those often forgotten gems. A lover of the "long blend", I tend to play all sub-genres of House, Breakbeat, Techno, Drum & Bass and still have a passion for Rave and Happy Hardcore.
